6/6/2012 7:54:32 PM rx7dryver: H53EXPERT: I don’t understand how Magpul Handguards can be too big. You rest the front of the rifle on your hand, and wrap your fingers up as much as they will go. There is no reason to have to be able to wrap your hand all the way, or even anywhere near to all the way, around the handguard. It is certainly not necessary to wrap you hand around them. I guess I am used to thinner profile rifle stocks. I cut my teeth using narrow rifle stocks such as those found on a Winchester featherweight, Savage 99 and the like. I know what you mean. Most of my handling time has been with M16 and thin carbine size stocks. But having to use different ones is just a matter of adapting. It is like when I have to go to work. I fly throughout the country and have to get a rental car. They all feel different, but I still drive them. hotdog250j
